Payroll Manager

Our client in the healthcare industry is looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County


Job Description:

  • Manage and oversee payroll function
  • Determine taxation of employee earnings and fringe benefits
  • Develop and implement workflow and tasks
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Review and interpret reports
  • Responsible for system administration
  • Lead system upgrades and conversions
  • Improve internal controls
  • Manage accrued PTO, benefit and payroll withholding accounts reconciliation



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or related field and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
