Payroll Manager

Our client in the technology industry is looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County


Job Description:

  • Prepare and reconcile payroll cycles and reports
  • Ensure and implement federal/state/international wage and hour laws
  • Prepare and maintain liability schedules
  • Process garnishments and funding requirements
  • Update payroll records
  • Audit W-4s, payroll balance sheets, quarterly filings and YTD earnings
  • Review, suggest and update improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Ensure year-end financial audit, 401k audit and pay structure
  • Reconcile and resolve payroll accounts and discrepancies



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
