Payroll Manager

Our client in the construction and engineering industry is looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

    • Oversee the training, mentoring and development of direct and indirect reports
    • Plan, coordinate, and manage the functions of the Payroll department
    • Help analyze, prepare and input payroll data using an automated system
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
    • Assist managers with resolving payroll discrepancies
    • Assist with HR related projects
    • Assist with completing pre-acquisition and post-acquisition support tasks 



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
