Payroll Specialist

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

  • Prepare bi-weekly payroll processing accurately and on time
  • Help maintain employee records
  • Help process manual checks, wages for employee terminations and new hires
  • Prepare and process special payments
  • Manage open tickets with payroll vendor
  • Prepare quarter end and year end payroll processes
  • Develop ad hoc reports
  • Perform internal and external payroll audits
  • Prepare and review post payroll reports and distribute to finance



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
