Payroll Specialist

Our client in the technology industry is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team in the San Fernando Valley


Job Description:

  • Document the existing payroll process by working with current subject matter experts
  • Assist customers and internal subject matter experts
  • Maintain and update existing configurations to meet agency needs
  • Develop and maintain time and labor installation and training documentation
  • Manage payroll projects from intake through implementation



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
