Property Accountant

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Property Accountant to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

  • Develop journal entries with supporting documentation
  • Prepare financial statements and complete schedules
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Manage cash balances
  • Oversee and approve invoices
  • Prepare check requests
  • Manage general ledger
  • Code miscellaneous cash receipts
  • Prepare annual operating budgets
  • Review all year-end financial statement reconciliations
  • Manage loan compliance
  • Process property tax payments
  • Assist with audits



  • Experience in the commercial real estate or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of MRI
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
