Senior Accountant

Our client in the service company industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Santa Barbara County


Job Description:

  • Prepare journal entries
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Prepare and analyze monthly accruals
  • Perform research and analysis on complex issues
  • Prepare and perform analysis of severance and tax accruals
  • Assist with financial reporting and SOX requirements



  • CPA a plus
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and OGSYS software experience a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
