Senior Accounting Manager

Our client in the manufacturing / distribution industry is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team in Santa Barbara County

 

Job Description:

  • Support GL accounting functions
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements
  • Manage month-end close
  • Assist with the annual audit and quarterly reviews
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license a plus
  • Public accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadline
  • Detail-oriented

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
