Senior Payroll Manager

Our client in the healthcare industry is looking for a Senior Payroll Manager to join their team in the Orange County


Job Description:

  • Lead and develop the payroll staff
  • Responsible for setting the direction, establishing strategies, goals and objectives
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding service agreement and customer expectations
  • Responsible for the hiring, training, development and coaching of the payroll staff
  • Manage all major payroll issues
  • Responsible for the efficient operations of the payroll customer service team, providing metrics to improve efficiency, work-flow and reporting
  • Manage the maintenance at company level and system level within the payroll computerized system
  • Manage the investigation and research of all issues with Human Resources on the new hires
  • Plan and ensure adequate processes and procedures within the operations group to maintain a seamless year-end audit engagement


  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
