Senior Property Accountant

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County.


Job Description:

  • Post journal entries
  • Review monthly cash position
  • Help make short term investment decisions
  • Prepare variance explanations
  • Reconcile and analyze trial balance
  • Review fixed assets and depreciation expense
  • Prepare property financial statements
  • Prepare information for quarterly reporting
  • Prepare debt compliance calculations
  • Track and reconcile debt service payments
  • Track and approve property tax payments
  • Facilitate the reserve for reimbursement requests.
  • Prepare annual tax and audit packages



  • CPA a plus
  • Public accounting experience a plus
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
