Senior Property Accountant

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County


Job Description:

  • Responsible for annual preparation of Budgets, CAM Estimates and CAM Reconciliation
  • Maintain depreciation and amortization schedules
  • Responsible for bi-annual property tax payments, sales tax, business license and related follow up
  • Prepare monthly financial analysis of properties
  • Record and maintain straight-line adjustments
  • Assist Property Managers to optimize financial and operational performance of properties
  • Prepare required reporting to lenders and other parties



  • CPA license preferred
  • Experience in the financial services, real estate or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, real estate or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
