Senior Property Accountant

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Maintain accrual schedules for property taxes
  • Support effective asset management
  • Recommend and execute expense re-classes
  • Responsible for reviewing lease setup
  • Ensure lease charge schedules entered accurately
  • Help with ledger reconciliations and review of AR reports
  • Post monthly billings
  • Review weekly AP batches
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Assist with the preparation and review of investors’ K1s and 1099’s
  • Understand and apply CAM charges accordingly

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
