Senior SEC Reporting Analyst

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for a Senior SEC Reporting Analyst to join their team in Santa Barbara County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare work papers to support information in SEC Filings
  • Support the preparation of press releases
  • Prepare quarterly reporting calendars
  • Manage financial statement tie outs
  • Act as quarterly XBRL tag reviewer of work
  • Help benchmark best practices and recommend new additions or revisions
  • Assist with quarterly technical accounting update
  • Assist with audits

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Experience with Oracle and Hyperion is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
