Sr. Credit/Collections Specialist

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Sr. Credit/Collections Specialist to join their team in Santa Barbara County

 

Job Description:

  • Responsible for key accounts receivable functions
  • Assist management with collection cycle, prompt account collections and bad debt write-off
  • Meet quarterly aging goals
  • Help verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented

  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or related field and a minimum of5 years’ relevant experience
