Staff Auditor

Our client in the technology industry is looking for a Staff Auditor to join their team in Denver

 

Job Description:

  • Perform assigned responsibilities for engagement planning
  • Perform assigned responsibilities for risk assessment and development of audit/engagement approach
  • Perform assigned responsibilities for development of audit programs and testing matrices
  • Perform audit procedures in accordance with audit objectives and scope, and audit programs
  • Develop conclusions based on objective evidence and formulating recommendations
  • Participate in update and closing meetings with management
  • Prepare assignment updates for discussion at regular internal status meetings
  • Assist Internal Audit team members to identify system or process improvements

Requirements:

  • CPA, CISA, or CIA license preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
