VP Finance

Our client in the non-profit industry is looking for a VP Finance to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Oversee annual operating and capital budgets
  • Oversee corporate grants and contracts
  • Manage fiscal impact of grants on services
  • Manage external auditing consultants
  • Oversee the management of cash transactions, loans and investments
  • Manage cash management plan
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual year-end closings
  • Oversees administration of purchasing policies and practices
  • Develop capital budgets, in collaboration with the CFO
  • Help monitor budget and expenditures
  • Help conduct periodic reviews of the organizations financial status

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license or CMA certification
  • Experience in the healthcare or related industries
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
