Most notably, he increased the number of contractors on assignment at Kaiser Permanente from less than 10 to 70-plus — helping Nick to earn the title of Top Producer on the Finance and Accounting team. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, with a minor in English from the University of Alabama.

Prior to Century Group, Cheyenne worked as an Inside Sales Representative for both the San Diego Chargers and San Diego Padres. She was a top-earner, and consistently surpassed sales goals, outbound call numbers and revenue acquired. A Southern California native, she’s excited to use her experience to help clients find the perfect candidate and be apart of the Denver team.

Caitlin Potarf is a Director of Client Services on the Project and Interim Services team in the Denver office, and works with various clients to help businesses solve problems and achieve results. She has a passion for changing people’s lives and knows that Century Group is the place to make that happen.

Prior to Century Group, Caitlin started her career with another staffing firm in New York City — working her way to Market Manager and was the top-producer for all product lines in its consulting division. After nearly five years, she was recruited and promoted to Director of the firm’s Finance and Accounting Division in Fort Lauderdale, where she was awarded the First Firm Award. Her success led to Caitlin’s promotion to Managing Director just a year into running the team, which had a 19% year-over-year growth and helped her to rank No.3 in the company for overall growth in her field in 2017.

Caitlin recently moved back home to the Denver area as the company’s Business Partner, West Region before joining the Century Group team in June. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Colorado State University.

Prior to joining Century Group, James gained audit experience with KPMG and most recently worked as Tax Staff for EY. There, he performed tax real estate work on EY’s largest tax client, analyzed and solved technical tax issues and actively recruited top talent for the EY brand. James is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Ron Proul has been a member of the Century Group management team since 1995 and was appointed CEO in 2007. Over his tenure, he has held various responsibilities, including President and COO, prior to his appointment to CEO. He began his career with the firm as an associate with responsibility for direct recruiting and sourcing of candidates for the firm’s clients.

During his tenure, Ron has managed numerous clients and successfully executed hundreds of searches in a variety of industries, including biotech, consumer products, software, financial services, investments and entertainment. He currently oversees all corporate administration, business development, research, recruiting, and marketing for retained search, contingency search and project consulting practices.

Ron has also been published and quoted on the field of executive search by a variety of publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Fordyce Letter and Los Angeles Business Journal. He served on numerous committees and boards and is a judge for the annual CFO of the year Awards for the Los Angeles Business Journal.
Ron holds a Bachelor Degree from Whittier College and was previously with a national firm prior to joining Century Group in 1990.

Lisa Chang joined Century Group as the Director of Talent Acquisition in 2015. Sabrina Maharaj is the Sr. Marketing Manager in the El Segundo office responsible for leading Century Group's overall marketing strategy. She works with the executive leadership team to promote the Century Group brand and drive the candidate and client experience through targeted marketing strategies. She has a passion for understanding user behavior and enjoys exploring data to identify optimization opportunities and develop informed business recommendations.

Prior to joining Century Group, Sabrina held various digital marketing roles working within the entertainment, tech and retail industries — focused primarily on driving brand awareness, developing consumer-driven content and implementing acquisition and engagement strategies. Sabrina holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.

Managing Director

Brad Horton is Managing Director of Century Group’s Westlake Village office, where he works with clients on finance, accounting, tax and audit roles on both direct hire and interim-based placements.

He comes to Century Group with over a decade of recruiting and client development experience, most recently as Vice President of a national recruiting firm’s San Fernando Valley region. In that role, he lead a team that provided temp, temp-to-perm and direct hire positions for accounting, finance, IT and administrative functions in the Conejo Valley and Ventura County markets. Prior to being named Vice President, he served as the Branch Manager for the company’s Westlake Village location. He also spent nearly 10 years as COO of two successful companies in the entertainment and technology industries.

Brad is a member and has served on the boards of the Ventura County Chapter of the American Payroll Association, Ventura County Executive Financial Forum, and the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from San Diego State University and his Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.

Brian has successfully completed searches in accounting, finance and audit at the CFO, Vice President, Controller and management levels and works with the Entertainment, Financial Services, Technology and Service industries. Prior to his career in executive search, he worked as a trader for Broadway Trading in New York City. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and Management from Syracuse University.

Graduating with a bachelor's degree in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in the '70s, Harry landed his dream job as a broker on Wall Street. But in 1974, with the market collapsing, he knew he would have to find a new opportunity. He began making the rounds to search firms hoping to find work as an analyst. With nothing available, but impressed by Harry's energy, every one of those firms offered him a position as a recruiter.

Out of the numerous firms, Harry selected and began his search career with a New Jersey-based firm, wasting no time becoming its top producer. Harry later convinced the partners to launch an office in Southern California. In a matter of months, he had relocated and had it up and running strong.

By 1989, Harry wanted to create a new firm based on his own vision — what he called the "group concept." Soon, recruiters whose talents he had spotted and tapped in the past were lining up to join him. Among them: Don Yaeger, who would become his partner, and Ron Proul as a staff recruiter.

In the early days, Century Group didn’t need next-gen technology or corporate backing — it had more than enough raw collective energy, talent and ambition to catapult it to the next level. With automation technology and advancements, the firm's productivity, reputation and reach have only grown exponentially.

Quite possibly, Harry's greatest achievement is that he has been able to bring together — and keep together — so many talented people for so many years. A collaborative work environment has kept many Century Group staffers with the company for over a decade. It is a testament to Harry's uncanny aptitude for spotting the right people and putting them in the group concept to achieve their full potential. Perhaps it's not all that uncanny when you consider that he has conducted over 20,000 interviews in his career.

In 2015, after 40 years in search, Harry retired — allowing the firm to continue under the loyal team he assembled over the years. He is still active on the firm's Board of Directors as a chief advisor and keeps himself very busy as an investor, publishing books, speaking nationally and internationally as well as working daily with his website (thetechtrader.com).

Prior to joining Century Group, Zach managed both client development and the recruitment of finance and accounting professionals at a national staffing firm. Before that, he managed a sales team, daily operations, promotional events and customer engagement for Val Surf, one of the oldest family-owned surf, skate and snowboarding shops that is still in operation. Zach is an active member and sits on the board of the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA). He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications for California Lutheran University.

Josh Wilson is an Associate Director of Client Services on the Project and Interim Services team in the El Segundo office. He uses his skill set to help build long-term relationships with clients to identify and fill their project and interim needs in the areas of accounting, finance, tax and audit.

Prior to Century Group, Josh was a Branch Manager at one of the largest Enterprise Rent-a-Car branches in the world. He supervised and managed a large team — helping to grow the business by more than 125% within the course of a year and maintained a high customer service satisfaction rating. Josh holds a BA in History and a Minor in Political Science from Southern Methodist University.

With master's degrees in Psycho-Diagnostics and Behavior Development from Yeshiva University and CUNY, Don Yaeger always loved to find out what makes people tick. So it came as no surprise that the challenge of motivating candidates to make a career move would immediately pique Don's interest with a career as a recruiter in the late '70s.
By the late '80s, Harry Boxer was starting his own firm and invited Don to join him as partner and VP, along with a keen, young colleague named Ron Proul. In the fall of 1989, Century Group was born.

From a founding group of half a dozen recruiters, Century Group has grown into the largest accounting and finance search firm in LA. Don's exploratory style complemented the point-and-shoot efficiency of co-founder  Harry Boxer — developing a firm-wide approach that focuses on meeting clients' immediate needs, while setting them up to thrive long-term.
After serving Century Group's clients for 25 years, Don credits its now CEO, Ron Proul, for continuing to transform the company he helped found into a flourishing, forward-thinking corporation following his retirement in 2015.
