VP of Finance and Administration


Our client in the manufacturing distribution industry is looking for a VP of Finance and Administrtion to join their team in the San Fernando Valley.

 

Job Description:

  • Perform management with timely reviews of organization’s financial status and progress
  • Prepare reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position
  • Oversee creation and implementation of company’s information management strategy
  • Oversee activities relating to the organization’s contract, sub-contract, and inside sales function
  • Manage and oversee preparation of budgets
  • Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies
  • Manage subordinate supervisors
  • Perform supervisory responsibilities

 

Requirements:

  • MBA preferred
  • CPA / CMA license
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with ERP, the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to calculate figures and amounts
  • Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
