Chief Financial Officer

Our client in the service industry is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their team in the Orange County.


Job Description:

  • Oversee and direct financial and fiscal management
  • Assist with planning, budgeting and monthly/year-end financial reporting
  • Review and implement improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Establish / maintain relationships with lending institutions and financial communities
  • Ensure efficiency and cost effective resource utilization
  • Support Board, Audit, and Finance Committees



  • CPA / CMA preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, education/governmental compliance and regulatory standards
  • Knowledge of real estate acquisition and real property management, risk management and insurance
  • Experience with contract laws, negotiation and change management
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and MAS skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic



  • Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related fields and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
