Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client in the hospitality industry is looking for a, Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare weekly financial reports
  • Record, reconcile and collect daily POS revenue, cash and house account transactions
  • Reconcile cash and credit card deposits
  • Maintain fixed asset sub-ledger and calculate monthly depreciation expense
  • Record, report, and reconcile royalties
  • Manage licenses and permits
  • Manage real and personal property taxes
  • Calculate and file California sales tax
  • Reconciliation of related balance sheet accounts
  • Ability to analyze P&Ls and discuss inquiries with operations

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
