Senior Accountant

Our client in the technology industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Manage the general ledger of parent company
  • Help analyze financial activity for assigned accounts and prepare journal entries
  • Help research and analyze assigned general ledger accounts
  • Help analyze financial results compared with prior periods
  • Perform consolidation of Corporate and subsidiaries’ reporting package on a monthly basis
  • Produce and maintain regional and consolidated Oracle financial reports
  • Prepare various ad hoc reports and perform various ad hoc assignments
  • Produce and implement recommendations for process improvements and efficiency

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
