Accounting Manager

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Accounting Manager to join their team in the Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Manage and approve the Accounts Payable process
  • Manage Fixed Assets and Prepaid process
  • Manage the accrual process
  • Assist in month-end close
  • Prepare accounting schedules and analysis
  • Oversee policies, procedures, and SOX controls in assigned areas
  • Oversee staff
  • Assist Controller with Accounting operation tasks and projects assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the financial industry is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
