Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Accounting Manager to join their team in the Los Angeles County.
Job Description:
- Manage and approve the Accounts Payable process
- Manage Fixed Assets and Prepaid process
- Manage the accrual process
- Assist in month-end close
- Prepare accounting schedules and analysis
- Oversee policies, procedures, and SOX controls in assigned areas
- Oversee staff
- Assist Controller with Accounting operation tasks and projects assigned
Requirements:
- Experience in the financial industry is a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
- A team player
- Strong work ethic
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
