Our client in non profit industry is looking for a Controller to join their team in Orange County.


Job Description:

  • Manage all accounting
  • Manage the preparation of the annual budget and reforecast cycles
  • Prepare monthly financial close and financial statements for internal and external customers
  • Prepare, maintain and analyze all general ledger accounts, accounts payable/accounts receivable and fix asset activities
  • Manage all aspects of the annual financial audit process
  • Assist the company’s tax consultants
  • Oversee the accounting and company credit/loan agreements
  • Perform technical research on complex accounting and reporting issues
  • Assist CFO, internal staff and external consultants to identify, coordinate and implement systems and process improvements
  • Prepare and maintain consolidated financial forecast and variance analysis
  • Prepare, review, interpret and analyze financial and statistical data
  • Assist payroll, general accounting, accounts payable, and other financial area
  • Help maintain order, cleanliness and safety at work



  • Master’s degree preferred
  • CPA license
  • Experience in non-profit organization, real estate or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
