Senior Accountant

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Manage quarterly corporate forecast and annual budget processes
  • Provide variance explanations
  • Help analyze and record activity for select accounts
  • Assist with system implementations, testing and identifying process improvements
  • Assis with monthly account reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Prepare journal entries for monthly close
  • Prepare audit work papers
  • Respond to inquiries from internal accounting counterparts

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
