Project Accountant

Our client in construction / engineering industry is looking for a Project Accountant to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare owner billings
  • Process vendor invoices/subcontractor payment requests
  • Process vendor journals
  • Handle reports of worker’s compensation injuries
  • Maintain accounting records
  • Process “zero checks” as necessary
  • Monitor issuance of manual and joint checks

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
