Human Resources Manager

Our client in the retail industry is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their team in Los Angeles.

 

Job Description:

  • Create and maintain a company hiring plan
  • Help coordinate the annual employee performance review process
  • Research and track compensation packages
  • Assist with new employee orientation
  • HR Compliance and Payroll
  • Administrate employee benefits/open enrollment
  • Maintain employee files
  • Respond to unemployment claims
  • Help deliver HR driven training sessions
  • Maintain and update organizational chart
  • Manage and review time-off / vacation

 

Requirements:

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, preferred
  • Must have knowledge of HR employment laws, ADA, FMLA, EEO requirements
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
