Interim Accounting Coordinator (Project)

Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Interim Accounting Coordinator to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Help process all accounts payable invoices, check requests, and expense report payments
  • Perform weekly check runs after approval
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations
  • Help answer vendor inquiries regarding payment status and discrepancies
  • Help maintain vendor payable files, requesting W9s
  • Perform annual processing of Form 1099s
  • Prepare files documents
  • Perform year-end archiving of documents
  • Perform other duties

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and Great Plains skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
