Chief Financial Officer

Our client in the service company industry is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their team in the San Fernando Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Assist IT, operations and sales personnel, to research and report
  • Review and implement financial policies, procedures and systems
  • Prepare financial close process
  • Provide strategic financial leadership and support on the evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions and mergers
  • Ensure all billing processes run in a timely manner
  • Manage and coordinate activities related to debt instruments
  • Oversee in the negotiation and implementation of contracts and renewals
  • Manage Insurance, HR and Risk programs
  • Strive to identify cost reduction and profit enhancement methods
  • Measure and negotiate inventory and facilities improvements with vendors and suppliers
  • Budget development and tracking in correlation with company goals and fiscal calendar
  • Report trends, and variables with significance to the qualitative and quantitative elements

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA license
  • CIA, CMA or CFM certifications preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
