Fund Accountant

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Fund Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Reconcile and manage cash projections
  • Prepare capital calls, distributions, and management fee calculations
  • Prepare quarterly closing package and financial statements
  • Manage quarterly valuation process and maintain line of credit
  • Coordinate annual audit and tax process
  • Manage investor reporting
  • Maintain IR functions
  • Oversee compliance
  • Assist with the books and records

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Public accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
