Senior Property Accountant

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and manage general ledgers
  • Perform reconciliations
  • Prepare balance sheet and income statement variance explanations
  • Assist with month-end close
  • Prepare supporting schedules and analysis
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the real estate or related industries preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Experience with MRI accounting systems a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
