Financial Reporting Manager

Our client in the service company industry is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual internal/external financial statements
  • Research variances/trends and present findings
  • Research and document complex/unusual transactions
  • Identify and address control gaps in financial reporting
  • Review and suggest improvements to internal policies

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Great Plains experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
