Interim Billing & Collections Specialist (Project)

Our client in the entertainment industry is looking for an Interim Billing & Collections Specialist to join their team in San Fernando Valley County


Job Description:

  • Oversee outstanding account balances
  • Responsible for notifying customers of past due accounts
  • Manage lockbox, wire transfers and electronic payment activity
  • Ensure payments are received/applied
  • Help resolve collection issues, processing customer’s refunds and review account adjustments
  • Identify and resolve all deductions, short-payments and over/unapplied payments
  • Oversee customer billing



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic


  • Bachelor’s degree a plus and a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience
