Senior Payroll Analyst

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Help collect and audit hours for payroll
  • Help audit financial, tax, and payroll reports
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Assist with external audits
  • Assist with reconciling tax filings
  • Ensure accurate W2 reporting.
  • Process garnishments
  • Produce ad hoc reports
  • Process manual pays when needed

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
