Accounts Payable Manager

Our client in the retail industry is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in the Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Process, compile and maintain AP records/files, account reconciliations and work papers
  • Oversee invoice and check request approval verification
  • Perform invoice coding and weekly analysis of invoice aging
  • Prepare and process checks
  • Help update and maintain vendor database
  • Process weekly check runs
  • Responsible for reconciling vendor statements
  • Responsible for auditing and verifying expense reports
  • Prepare 1099

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and JD Edwards experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
