Manager of Credit and Collections

Our client in the consumer products industry is looking for an Manager of Credit and Collections to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Develop, evaluate and continuously improve credit and collections procedures and controls
  • Help reconcile and close the accounts receivable ledger
  • Prepare month-end customer statements
  • Prepare, reconcile and close the cash receipts ledger
  • Prepare monthly accounts receivable reporting package
  • Assist with periodic audits and reviews
  • Prepare necessary schedules related to A/R, Credit and Collections

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
