Interim Benefits Coordinator (Project)

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for an Interim Benefits Coordinator to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Assist in the administer various employee benefits programs
  • Assist and conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system
  • Help maintain employee benefits filing systems
  • Assist employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit claims
  • Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information
  • Assist in completing benefits reporting requirements
  • Assist with termination reconciliations, report running and semi-monthly benefit audits
  • Assist with annual open enrollment process
  • Assist with completion of state unemployment forms and employment verifications

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and Ultipro skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
