Manager, Corporate Audit & SOX

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Manager, Corporate Audit & SOX to join their team in the Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage operational reviews/audit programs
  • Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls
  • Responsible for key business/IT processes, data integrity/reporting and financial performance
  • Identify and resolve audit issues/findings
  • Manage and perform compliance audits
  • Review work papers and reports
  • Assist with annual audit work plan

 

Requirements:

  • CPA, CIA and/or CISA license preferred
  • Public accounting preferred
  • Big 4 accounting experience a plus
  • Public accounting and private industry experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and ERP software experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
