Senior Accountant

Our client in the service company industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare journal entries
  • Prepare balance sheet schedules
  • Analyze and distribute monthly financial results
  • Prepare P&L reports for financial reporting package
  • Review and analyze annual operating budgets
  • Create consolidated budget reports
  • Prepare reports of comparison of actual vs. budget
  • Assist in ad hoc projects

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
