Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the construction and engineering industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Help with timecard data entry and balancing
  • Perform payroll processing and check printing
  • Help with garnishment management
  • Perform employment verification
  • Help process and distribute weekly payroll checks
  • Assist both internal and external customers
  • Assist other department

 

Requirements:

  • CPP or FPC certificate
  • Experience in the construction or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
