Fund Accounting Manager

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and ledgers
  • Accurately consolidate fund entities
  • Review reconciliations
  • Provide financial information to other departments
  • Assist with special projects
  • Prepare capital contribution and distributions
  • Prepare compliance and reporting packages
  • Assist with audits
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting close

 

Requirements:

  • Real Estate/private equity fund experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
