Interim Vice President, Procurement (Project)

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for an Interim Vice President, Procurement to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Assist in governance and decision making
  • Manage outward communication to vendors
  • Develop a synergy between vendors, VRM, and the various business units
  • Develop a streamlined workflow process
  • Assist business units in managing vendor contracts.
  • Manage spend and maintain service levels
  • Help track vendor contracts and identify
  • Prepare for renewals on a timely basis
  • Assist the RFP process for new vendors or changes

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the financial services, banking or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
