Chief Financial Officer

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage financial record keeping and reporting
  • Present financial statements
  • Perform quarterly/annual reports and tax reports
  • Help minimize tax liabilities and oversee tax law changes
  • Review and implement improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Assist with accounting systems implementation and conversion task forces
  • Manage the operating budget and capital expenditures budgeting process
  • Maintain balance between interest sensitive earning assets and interest sensitive liabilities
  • Prepare, analyze and present reports
  • Manage the investment securities portfolio and liquidity position
  • Help minimize risks and maximize earnings
  • Maintain files and records
  • Manage GL accounts reconciliation and certification

 

Requirements:

  • MBA preferred
  • CPA license preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
