Financial Reporting Manager

Our client in the consumer products industry is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and review quarterly/annual form 10-Q/10-K reports
  • Create and maintain SEC calendar
  • Manage and oversee external financial statements and accounting issues
  • Manage the annual audit and quarterly reviews
  • Help coordinate and execute stock administration activities
  • Provide accounting for stock compensation arrangements
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes and procedures
  • Support month-end closing process
  • Prepare journal entries and challenging accounting transactions

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Big 4 accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC and SOX
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
