Interim AP/AR Manager (Project)

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Interim AP/AR Manager to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Lead and support A/R and A/P staff and process
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and year end close process
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Help resolve cash receipt and cash application issues
  • Review bank account set up and facilitate payment processing
  • Coordinate late fee billing with property managers
  • Help review and reconcile tenant ledgers
  • Calculate TPT tax payments
  • Reconcile daily cash receipt transactions to bank
  • Reconcile vendor statements with accounting system records
  • Approve new vendors and maintain vendor database
  • Prepare and submit 1099 filings
  • Audit and record expenses paid
  • Process manual check requests
  • Assist with special projects as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Yardi Voyager and AvidXchange a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
