Tax Manager

Our client in the entertainment industry is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team in the Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee federal, state and foreign income tax return preparation
  • Oversee preparation of sales and use tax returns, property tax returns and gross receipts returns
  • Oversee quarterly estimated tax payments preparation
  • Manage income and sales tax audits
  • Prepare and respond to tax authority inquiries
  • Assist with coordinating payments
  • Assist with annual tax provision calculations
  • Assist with accrual for uncertain tax positions
  • Prepare transfer pricing studies
  • Analyze and review inter-company transactions

 

Requirements:

  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
