Interim Credit Manager (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Interim Credit Manager to join their team in the San Gabriel Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Help monitor and maintain accounts
  • Prepare and process journal entries
  • Assist with collection of outstanding balances
  • Post cash receipts, checks, wire payments, and credit card payment
  • Generate bills and invoices
  • Process credit card authorizations
  • Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports
  • Evaluate and approve credit application and sales term for new customers
  • Routinely contact customers for past due balances
  • Audit company transactions, and help resolve customer disputes

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
