Account Payable Manager

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Account Payable Manager to join their team in San Fernando Valley.

 

Job Description:

  • Manage rent and auto lease payments
  • Perform full cycle AP processing
  • Manage AP adjustments
  • Manage workflow issues and resolve problems
  • Research outstanding checks
  • Assist with year-end 1099 reporting
  • Assist with quarter/yearly audits
  • Manage monthly closing
  • Assist with month/quarter end accrual process
  • Review and implement improvements to systems
  • Manage wire transfer data and update departmental lists and forms
  • Provide accounting assistance
  • Respond to financial questions/concerns
  • Supervise, train and evaluate AP Specialists

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and ERP systems experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
