Interim Director of Human Resources (Project)

Our client in the consumer products industry is looking for an Interim Director of Human Resources to join their team in Contra Costa County

 

Job Description:

  • Assist with and manage employee issues and programs
  • Manage insurance broker relationships
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Manage the annual employee survey
  • Develop talent management plans
  • Develop and manage recruitment function
  • Manage and ensure succession/retention plans and development programs
  • Responsible for performance management system and standards
  • Manage HR functions, recordkeeping and compliance
  • Responsible for evaluating impact of HR processes
  • Responsible for communicating benefit-related changes
  • Assist with benefit questions

 

Requirements:

  • Human Resources Certification preferred
  • Experience in the beverage industry or related industries a plus
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
