Interim Staff Accountant (Project)

Our client in the non profit industry is looking for an Interim Staff Accountant to join their team in Santa Barbara County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations and GL/subsidiary ledgers reconciliations
  • Prepare and distribute financial statements and reports
  • Maintain GL account subsidiary worksheets and data bases
  • Assist with annual operating and capital budgets preparation
  • Assist with regulatory and government reporting
  • Assist with annual external audits preparation
  • Perform month end close

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience
