Interim Payroll Processor (Project)

Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Processor to join their team in the San Fernando Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare, review and edit timesheets
  • Help process bonus payments
  • Help maintain and update employee direct deposit and pay card setups, changes and cancellations in payroll system for assigned region
  • Help process wage assignments
  • Prepare monthly union reports
  • Assist with garnishment scanning
  • Assist field offices responding to questions regarding payroll related issues
  • Perform research to help resolve any payroll related issues
  • Assist Supervisor with maintaining written procedures

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
